How to Use Feng Shui Tips for Better Love Life

Monday, July 30th, 2012

The concept of feng shui lies in creating a positive environment in your home so that chi can move freely through the home. If the path of chi is blocked, then energy in the home becomes stagnant and this is when you start feeling blocked in life where your interest in your love life may tend to reduce.

So it is by learning to balance and make corrections in chi in your bedroom that you will be able to bring some love and romance into your life. And this is done by first cleaning up the bedroom. Once you have a cluttered and untidy bedroom, the chi or energy here becomes low or slow. After cleaning your room, just clap your hands loudly to get rid of any stale and old energy there may be in the room. Some of you may have a habit of working out in the bedroom; however according to feng shui, this is a no no. This is because once you work out in your bedroom, or have any sports equipment in the bedroom, you tend to bring the chi associated with hard work and exertion in the otherwise soft and romantic bedroom. And with this, you only work at turning your relationship into something similar to a tough workout, and not something enjoyable and romantic. So go ahead and move all your sports and workout equipment to some other place so that your relationship gets to move along smoothly. It is but natural for a person to expect to have an improved love life; and with feng shui, this is very much possible. Besides clearing clutter and avoiding exercise and working in the bedroom, you have to work at getting rid of anything that reminds you of a past, failed relationship. This means that you have to get rid of any old photographs, memoirs like sweaters, gifts and cards that you had exchanged with the person who is no more a part of your life. Most important, get rid of love letters from people you no longer have a relationship with.

It is essential that the front door of your house and your bedroom door open without any sticking or squeaking, and that they don’t open partly. This is because any thing that is stored behind them tends to block the romantic flow of energy to your bedroom. Even loose doorknobs indicate you’re finding it difficult to handle your romance, so tighten it. It is better to place your bed so that there is equal space on either side to ensure that you and your partner enjoy equal enjoyment in the relationship. Having a side of the bed against the wall makes the person sleeping on that side confined in the relationship. The best place for the bed is on the opposite side of the room from the door. If it is not possible to see the bedroom door form the bed, you could try hanging a mirror for a reflected view of its entry to the room. Try this and you will soon see an improvement in your love life.

Feng shui is very effective in improving the quality of your love life. Besides the few feng shui suggestions mentioned before, you could consider creating a collage of images related to your perfect relationship. Then place this collage in an area which you will see everyday, as feng shui says that this way, you will be reminded of your wonderful relationship everyday. It would be better to do and complete the collage with the help of your partner. A good place to place the collage, and any other form of romantic artwork is the wall opposite the base of your bed and the part of the room that you see first when you enter it. This improves the romance chi in the bedroom and leads to a much more fruitful relationship. You could place fresh or silk flowers, romantic things like birds, decorative pillows and candles in pairs or a round mirror in the bedroom to improve the effects of romantic chi in the bedroom.

And if your partner is to live with you, make sure that there is sufficient room in the bedroom not only for storing their belongings, but also for both of you to make and feel love. Practice these feng shui tips to see an increase in the feeling of romance in your relationship.

feng shui gift Lucky Feng Shui Symbols In A Chinese Shop

Feng Shui is a Daoist based vision of the natural world; alive and filled with “Chi”, or energy. The ancient Chinese believed the land’s energy (chi) could be positive or negative (yin or yang).Yin and Yang are two opposites in the Living Universe. While they are opposite, it is also true that one cannot exist without the other. Without night there is no day and without black there would be no white. These energies are constantly interacting with each other in our daily lives. Practitioners of the yin-yang concept advocate the need of a balance the two forces. This is where The Art of Feng Shui fits in. Feng means “Wind” and Shui means “Water” and Feng Shui is the “art of living in harmony with the earth”. When we live our lives in balance and harmony, we are filled with happiness, contentment, and abundance.

A few of the Feng Shui icons and symbols, thought to activate the positive energies of fortune, good luck and prosperity.

The Laughing Buddha
The Buddha Has A Protective Supernatural Power. Born 2600 Years Ago; The Buddha Is the Symbol Of Luck, Happiness, Laughter, and Contentment. The Laughing Buddha brings prosperity, success and financial gains to the occupants in the house, shop or restaurant. The placement of the Laughing Buddha is very important. It has to sit at a height of approximately 30 inches, and should be facing directly at the main door. Hence, a visitors “energy” entering from the main door is greeted by the Laughing Buddha and the energy is activated to become more auspicious.

Ancient Chinese Coins
The Coins should be hung on the inside of the doors, so as to be deemed already inside a house. Always use three, six, seven or eight coins, rather than four or five, as these numbers are considered very auspicious and lucky. When placing these coins always stick them with the yang side up; the side which has the 4 Chinese characters written on it, should be above and visible and the other side, with the two characters, should be below. In business, three coins tied with ribbon or string, are use to activate, or bring in, the flow of money or luck. In your office, business or home they bring prosperity, wealth and luck and symbolize a never ending source of income Ancient Chinese Coins tied with a ribbon or string are very auspicious gifts, since the act of giving, in itself is most auspicious, we double our own luck each time we give some away.

The Dragon
The Dragon symbolizes power, benevolence, intelligence, goodwill, mystery, yang energy, strength and goodness. In restaurants, shops, and department stores, it is very good to display pictures of Dragons in the East, wherever a lot of yang energy and movement is desirable.

The Phoenix
The Phoenix is one of four ancient Chinese sacred animals (among The Turtle, The Dragon, and The Unicorn). A universal symbol of the sun, rebirth, resurrection and immortality, this legendary red “fire bird” was believed to die in its own flames, periodically (each hundred years, according to some sources) then rise again out of its own ashes. It symbolizes the luck of wish fulfillment and brings opportunities, fame and recognition. The luck in the Southern corner of our home or office, can be activated by placing the Phoenix there. The image of the Phoenix at a distance, also symbolizes farsightedness, which is essential for any intelligent businessman.

The Fortune Toad
The Fortune Toad, a three-legged toad called “Chan Chu” in Chinese, holds a coin in its mouth and has strings of coins around its feet. It should be placed facing the door to catch the money of passers-by. The Fortune Toad is the most significant symbol of prosperity in Feng Shui. It is often sitting on top of a bed of Chinese gold coins, with one coin fixed within the mouth so it will always stay in place. It is linked to the moon and associated with monetary gain, wealth and good health. Chinese legends say that the Fortune Toad was the wife of one of the Eight Immortals. She was turned into a Toad as punishment for stealing the peach from heaven. Naturally greedy, she craves for money and wherever people see a Three Legged Toad, there is prosperity to come. Since ancient China, this mythical Money Toad protects against misfortune and brings good fortune and wealth to the household. In a store it can be on or near the cash register, facing the direction of the door.
